Carolina Dolan

On my 10+ years of experience in IT I have worked as a technical lead for major companies, like Google and Electronic Arts, on different branches of the software industry itself such as software for the retail industry, governmental applications, e-commerce platforms - ensuring they meet any required security standards -, and highly visited gaming sites - where staying up-to-date with all the current trends is a must. I eventually took on the role of technical director, providing guidance from a technical perspective to both projects and sales efforts. Prior to working in software development, I spent two and a half years teaching English to adults at an institute. Teaching has always been an important aspect in my life; in addition to my work and being a student, I was a teacher assistant at the University of Buenos Aires for two years. I currently focus in two main areas within the consulting industry: account director, acting as a liaison between my company and the clients, balancing both companies’ interests as feasible; and development director, ensuring safe product delivery meeting proven industry standards.
