Nick James

CEO

Nick is a seasoned events and digital media executive with close to four decades experience on both sides of the Atlantic holding senior positions with News International & DMG.

An online convert since 2005, Nick is passionate about the mix of in-person and livestream experiences to deliver engagement and stakeholder value.

Nick has been responsible for launching the largest UK consumer show in the early 90’s, running the biggest annual event in the world and in the digital era creating information rich products for many different communities.

Niki Dowdall

MD

Niki is an experienced CEO/MD with expertise in growing revenue, margins, and profitability. She has specialised in business turnarounds and transformations and sat on PLC boards 

Experienced in both B2B/B2C media publishing industries with a strong track record of launching new events both virtual and physical from concept to delivery around the globe. 

In an exciting career which included co-launching the successful Global Women in IT/Women in Finance initiatives, she has literally run hundreds of events visited by millions of people.

Luke Neel

Group Commercial Director

Luke is a first-class sales leader with a track record of launching and growing B2B media products in digital and events. Luke has proven ability in personally managing large accounts, developing new business, and running sales teams.

Jonathan Sumner

Chief Digital Officer

Experienced director of digital media with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry. Jonathan is a strong media and communication professional and previous PLC board director skilled in, digital strategy, web development, marketing strategy, content strategy, digital marketing, and social media.

Robert Bateman

Analyst and Research Director

Robert Bateman is the Analyst and Research Director for GRC World Forums and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).

Robert is a respected voice on data protection, privacy, and security law. He built his profile creating in-depth reports on legislation, compliance guidance documents for organizations, and news articles about the latest sectoral developments worldwide.

Robert’s passion for privacy and security began while studying for a postgraduate law degree. His dissertation, on the compatibility of the U.K.’s Data Protection Act with the European Convention on Human Rights, won the DMH Stallard Prize for best research project.

Since then, Robert has worked with privacy and security-focused tech firms and startups, creating detailed guidance and policy documents to help organizations comply with their data protection and security compliance obligations.

A passionate advocate for digital rights, Robert has also worked as a journalist reporting on the latest developments in digital privacy, tech policy, and state surveillance.

Throughout his career, Robert has interviewed some of the sector’s most prominent figures such as privacy campaigners Max Schrems and Johnny Ryan, plus representatives from leading NGOs including Privacy International, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), and European Digital Rights (EDRi).

David Roberts

Commercial Director

David is experienced in running huge exhibitions, conferences (production and sponsorship), awards evenings and tailored events in the ICT, OEM, FMCG and financial services sectors across all continents and cultures and has worked for many of the world’s leading exhibition organisers, with a speciality in launching into new markets and consolidating, diversifying and geo-cloning existing events to drive profit, market share and geographic reach. 

David Wilson

Commercial Director

David has over 20 years’ experience working in exhibitions, conferences, and publishing. Specialising in new launches he has an excellent track record at UBM, Daily Mail Group, EMAP and Quantum Business Media, as well as being former Deputy CEO for Reed Exhibitions in the Middle East where he launched Reed’s activity in Saudi Arabia.

Commercial Director

Ikram is a successful commercial director with deep domain experience in several ICT sectors and a “grass roots” understanding of what is happening in the marketplace.

Ikram has worked globally for organisations such as, Ovum, Data Centre Dynamics, and Penton Media.
