A multi award-winning DE&I and ESG+H Champion and as the Chair and a Non-Executive Director for several listed, private and public companies, Miranda brings strategic vision, commercial acumen, risk management and regulatory insight to drive value creation. Having supported and advised start-up businesses that cater to evolving customer needs, she has a multi-sector track record across a range of business and third sector scenarios including innovative growth, operational resilience, turnaround and transformational culture change.

Across her portfolio of positions, Miranda chairs remuneration, governance, people, culture and education committees. Outside of her board roles, she provides global consultancy support to high growth ventures, and is a business and corporate governance expert including advising UK government on its strategy to improve our nation’s equality and UK House of Lords on regulations.

Miranda is also an impact investor and philanthropist supporting many global charities. Also, the Founder and President of registered Charity The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation (www.TMBDLF.com), making UK history in 2016 for being the first of its kind with innovative scholarships and the first diversity leadership lecture at the time. This has enabled great support for thousands of our next generation of diverse leaders to succeed in their education and career, with a ripple effect of millions where many beneficiaries have gone on to launch similar platforms.

She started her multi-decade career at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs etc where she was one of the first women of colour on the trading floor as an investment banker, hedge fund sales trader and senior international lawyer specialising in financial products (i.e. capital markets/derivatives), governance, risk and regulations.

An international public speaker, media contributor, podcaster and world’s fastest success mindset coach aka ‘The 60 Second Coach’, she launched ‘The D.A.R.E. Podcast’ in January 2024 to encourage global successful mindsets from students in class to leaders in the boardroom across all sectors with the world’s most successful mindsets i.e. global leaders/celebrities. As of March 2024, she has also partnered with ‘City AM’ newspaper to showcase the City’s most successful mindsets across their 2 million followers per month.

A former Senior Visiting Fellow at Oxford University, she commenced an independent research report called ‘The Brawn Review’ on Boardroom Sustainability, Inclusion & Corporate Governance launching at the House of Lords in 2025. Her mission is to drive economic, sustainable and inclusive social impact with a focus on equality creating a better world for all.
