Head of Governance and Compliance, NHS Confederation
Amy is currently Head of Governance and Compliance at the NHS Confederation, the membership organisation that brings together, supports and speaks for the whole healthcare system in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. She has over a decade of experience in the governance, largely within the large charity sector, as well as a successful stint in marketing and fundraising before returning to her governance roots.
She’s really passionate about effective governance really helping drive forward an organisation’s ambitions, rather than being governance for governance sake. Key to this is effective and creative engagement and collaboration with all staff and Amy loves coming up with new and fun ways to make governance and compliance stick within the organisation.
Amy lives in Lincoln with her husband and young daughter and in 2022 she was gobsmacked to be awarded the Head of Governance award from Women in GRC.
