Lead Architect IAM, The New School
Over thirty years of experience in the ever-changing IT industry. Began working at a computer shop building IBM-XT “clones” and repairing Kaypro All-In-One CP/M computers while still in high school.
Presently I am a Lead Architect in the Identity & Access Management space and currently responsible for all IAM related activities and systems at The New School in New York City for almost 6 years now.
I spent the prior 11 years at the New York MTA designing, building, and maintaining an IAM environment which managed over 100,000 identities across 21 different applications and systems.
Past major projects have included university-scale electronic mail system, chemical and industrial plant network infrastructure build-outs, and financial services desktop management implementations. Also was part of a team that helped re-engineer the process for handling processing of N-400 US immigration and naturalization applications.
