Stephanie Hilborne OBE

Stephanie is CEO of the charity Women in Sport, the most long-standing charity in its field with a proud history of securing change for women and girls. Stephanie joined Women in Sport in 2019 and has since refreshed the charity’s strategy and increased its impact through a high media profile and strong thought-leadership.

Building on the charity’s 40-year history, Stephanie has built on Women in Sport’s strong reputation as an insight-focused charity by tackling major policy issues to protect safety and fairness in women’s sport and championing equal investment.

Before Women in Sport, Stephanie was the CEO of The Wildlife Trusts where she campaigned to secure nature’s recovery and rebuild people’s connection with it. She has sat on a number of government panels, is experienced in achieving legislative change and is adamant that no-one should be excluded from the joy, fulfilment and lifelong benefits of sport.
