Simona Covaliu

Simona Covaliu is a risk and compliance professional with over 15 years experience working in both financially regulated and unregulated companies. Currently, she is the VP Risk and Compliance at Mambu. Simona previously worked at Uber Payments (Uber’s European payment entity), Booking.com and LeasePlan, after starting her career in Romania, as an auditor with Deloitte. She is passionate about helping companies do the right thing, and when she is not thinking about pragmatic ways to mitigate emerging risks, Simona enjoys quiet times with a good book or trying out the next best restaurant in Amsterdam.
