Enterprises and government departments throughout northern Europe are preparing to adopt new technologies to enhance security and strengthen defences in the face of an ever-growing global cyber threat.

State-of-the-art improvements are being driven by and implemented thanks to a new collaboration between US cybersecurity and intelligence company, Resecurity, and Iceland-based managed security services provider, SecureIT.

SecureIT is behind much of the cybersecurity consultation, compliance and security solutions currently in service throughout Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and other nations across an area that already has a well-established reputation for pioneering in technology; Spotify, Skype, SoundCloud and Nokia are just some of the innovative and profitable tech start-ups to originate in northern Europe.

Accordingly, the Nordic countries dominated the top ten spots for the 2021 Network Readiness Index, making them among the world’s top environments for technology use and creation, infrastructure, affordability, skills and technology adoption.

With this technology growth in the Nordic region, cyber risk and the need for highly advanced managed cybersecurity services and IT solutions providers to secure enterprises digital ecosystems has also increased.

To help Nordic business communities detect and mitigate cyber incidents, Resecurity’s partnership with SecureIT will see an expansion of advanced cyber threat intelligence services and solutions to local organisations.
