Ann McManus

Ann is an operationally-minded privacy lawyer working as Senior Counsel for Privacy, Data Protection & Cybersecurity at FIS Global. 

Ann is member of the New York Bar and holds a European Masters in Law & Economics completed at the Universities of Bologna, Hamburg and Haifa. She has also studied in Leuven, Belgium and her hometown, Edinburgh. Her career has seen her specialise in data protection, data governance, corporate governance, white collar crime, defamation and behavioural economics.

In her spare time, Ann is a keen endurance athlete. She is currently completing the Swedish Classic, a series of sports challenges including a 90km Nordic ski and 315km cycle, earning those who complete it successfully a diploma. Before her legal career, she was a semi-professional football player.
