After the tremendous success of the inaugural PICCASO Privacy Award awards in 2022, the awards are making a grand return in 2023, and growing to include nominations from across Europe.

Given the impressive track record of past winners like BT Group, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, and Royal Mail, it comes as no surprise that the 2023 Awards received an overwhelming response.

Shortlisted categories include the Best Privacy Programme Award, Best Privacy Culture Improvement Award, Most Impactful Privacy Product, and numerous others, making up a total of 19 categories. With over 150 finalists competing, the stage is set for an exciting and highly competitive event.

Winners will be announced on 8 November 2023 at The Brewery, in London. The evening promises to be a celebration like no other!

Representing the themes of Privacy, InfoSec, Culture, Change, Awareness, Societal, and Organisation, the PICCASO Privacy Awards Europe recognise the people and organisations making outstanding contributions to this dynamic and fast-growing sector—from the professionals ensuring their companies meet increasingly complex privacy requirements, to the academics, vendors and engineers developing privacy thought leadership and innovative solutions.

From countries all across Europe, leading privacy professionals, teams and organisations have made it on to the shortlist, which will now be reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges including: Anna Zeiter ( eBay); Bojana Bellamy (CIPL); Cecilia Alvarez (Meta); Florian Thomas (Accenture); Isabelle Vereecken (EDPB); Nick Graham (Dentons); Sarah Armstrong-Smith (Microsoft); Simon Hania (Uber); Steve Wood (PrivacyX Consulting); William Malcolm (Google).
