I’m the Open University Data Protection Evangelist. I am currently working to improve data maturity, and endeavour to make it interesting. As interesting as ROPA and DPIA’s can be. I am a PECB Certified Data Protection Officer, having joined to OU to support GDPR transition and getting bitten by the DP bug. My previous history is a storied one of customer service management and latterly, complaints management, the regulatory aspects of which have proved very useful in the DP sphere.

I live in rural Bedfordshire with my partner, 2 (sometimes 3) kids, dog, cat, 3 rats, 3 guinea pigs, 2 skinny pigs and hamster.
