Shabana Imran

A passionate ‘Change Leader’ focused in delivering results through transformational projects & new challenges, by leveraging on her business & technology experience. She has about 20 years of diverse global experience in financial industry across Data Management, IT Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance, Operations, Governance, Strategy & Project / Program management.

She currently heads the Data Management function globally in Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) for the Group Functions business. She monitors and assures the global data management framework is effectively & appropriately implemented globally in Group Functions. She has a wide range of experience in front ending discussions with most of the key regulators globally like PRA /FCA, MAS, HKMA etc.

She carries a proven track-record in strategy, governance, project management & analytics in various other positions she held in SCB. Her stint with General Electric (GE) adds to her accolades in Operations & Compliance.

Shabana will be speaking in the 11:50am - 12:35pm GMT session ”Women Inspiring Women; Why Female Representation in Leadership is critical for the future” of the Women in GRC Forum, taking place on 27th April at the Grosvenor House, London.
