Nicola Newitt

Nicola works as the lead privacy lawyer in Bupa’s international private medical insurance business, Bupa Global. She is a UK qualified lawyer who started her legal career in private practice and moved in-house to Bupa four years ago to focus on becoming fully embedded within a business. Nicola has experience implementing and managing a privacy framework throughout a global business. She is responsible for managing Bupa Global’s compliance with international privacy legislation and given the nature of her work has a particular interest in cross border data transfers.
