Chief Information Officer

Andrew Moore ++

I am a visionary who enjoys leading change across organizations that improve process, streamline decisions, and deliver access to critical tools and resources that drive success. I have held leadership roles and board positions across multiple industries, including oil & gas, technology, non-profit, and education, but my single purpose is making an impact on the community I live and work. Serving my own community, I was elected Mayor of 20,000-person suburb of Boulder, CO, and served three terms with the goal of making a difference and inspiring change. I have embraced a life-long learning attitude, which allows me to be open to new ideas and inspiration that has helped with problem-solving. I lead with a philosophy based on recruiting, hiring, and developing people and teams through a culture of empathy and accountability. My diverse education, unique job experiences, and community leadership have helped develop me into a well-rounded executive leader who thrives on solving complex problems in challenging environments. A few of my accomplishments include: - I was selected by peers & colleagues as a Colorado CIO of Year finalist in the peer-nominated 2020 Orbie awards. - I envisioned and led an initiative to transition IT to a hybrid cloud solution that encompassed data center infrastructure, phones, critical systems including ERP, and over 100 SaaS applications. - I created the ConnectME (My Education) program in the Boulder Valley School District, which brought internet to children in need through a public/ private partnership that was recognized nationally by Congress’s General Accounting Office (GAO). - I transformed an IT services department from the ground up to update and upgrade an onsite legacy system, utilizing industry best practices (ITIL), and ultimately creating a customer-focused, KPI measured, can do, state-of-the-art organization. - I led the town of Erie, CO, to a successful vote to fund a community gathering place, which ultimately became an award-winning recreation center. - I championed an initiative to change state law in order to build a new local library and facilitated communications across a diverse community to sustainably fund, build, and maintain a new trail system connecting Erie to Boulder.
