Data Steward & Digital Engineer

My active involvement in Data Governance and Data Protection started in the early 1990’s when I recruited my first Data Miner. Since then I’ve been fortunate to have worked across the globe with a range of clients across various sectors including

1. Direct to consumer [e.g. Diageo, Haymarket Publishing, Fidelity Investment, Bauer Media, Royal Bank of Scotland, Chelsea Football Club, BBC Worldwide and The Really Useful Group]

2. Business service providers [e.g. Experian, The Association of Online Publishers, The UK Information Commissioners Office, Oracle-Responsys, Populus, and Towers Watson]

This often involves acting as the Conductor / Translator between stakeholders from various functions e.g. Legal / Marketing / Commercial / Technical / Finance

Oscar Wilde said “Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.” and I’ve got plenty of Experience ! Looking forward to discussing the Article 5.2 Anagram & the Accountability Canary!
