Data Protection Officer (DPO), Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)
Having led Data Protection for the first EU Exit program and taken a major part in the Covid 19 food for vulnerable people program (Defra) Simon is now the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for DCMS who lead the U.K. government on Data Protection.
Simon has over 15 years in compliance, with a wide range of qualifications, from PGDip, PGCert (Data Protection Law and Information Governance) BA (hons,) Dip CM, CIPP/ E, CMIOSH, FRSPH, FIIRSM, FISQEM, F.Inst.Pa and member of IAPP (The International Association of Privacy Professionals) Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals. He is also a Lead auditor 27001:2013, 31000:2009 22301:2012 and 9001:2015.
Simon is a Data Privacy (GDPR) professional and currently an LLM student, as well as a registered Paralegal.
