CAIO, Boardman
I help boards, CEOs and private equity investors use technology and AI as strategic drivers of enterprise value, competitive advantage and sustainable growth.
As a Chief AI Officer (CAIO), technology executive and board advisor with more than 28 years of international leadership experience, I have led complex transformation programmes across HSBC, McKinsey, ING, UBS, Citigroup and Google, delivering enterprise technology strategy, AI transformation, cyber resilience and large-scale operating model change within highly regulated global organisations.
My expertise spans AI strategy and governance, enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, cloud modernisation, cyber resilience, product and platform strategy, technology due diligence, M&A integration and post-investment value creation. I work at the intersection of business strategy, technology and AI, helping organisations harness emerging technologies while managing regulatory, operational and cyber risk.
At HSBC I led global technology transformation across multiple business lines, helping deliver more than $400 million in efficiencies while embedding engineering excellence, DevSecOps, platform engineering and AI-enabled operating models at enterprise scale.
Today, as a CAIO and strategic technology advisor, I partner with boards, private equity firms and executive leadership teams to define technology strategy, accelerate AI adoption, strengthen cyber resilience and unlock measurable enterprise value through technology-enabled transformation.
