I am used to giving strategic direction and creating fast delivery of new and innovative capabilities in different sectors. Able to balance business requirements, with a pragmatic security lens.

Having lead some of the worst incidents a Cyber professional can face, I am the person you need to ensure you don’t get caught in the same type of incident.

Capable of communicating and delivering from factory floor to board room, my communication skills means I’m able to explain highly technical concepts to non-technical people in a useful manner. Engaging presentations and useful metrics means I quickly build trust and confidence with senior executives.

Experience includes Banking and Fincon/Finserve, Pharmaceuticals, Gaming/Gambling, Global Manufacturing, HM Gov, Technology and Supply Chain.

I strongly believe Cyber Security should be business enablers, rather than blocking or slowing projects and production. Hence, strong stakeholder management is a forte as well as influencing decision makers. I create pragmatic security programs, molding strong, diverse and resilient teams and functions that work with the business and help deliver business objectives. I call myself a ‘purposeful disrupter’ and as the originator of the world’s first free security standards for Audio Visual, creator of the first standardised KPI reporting in HM Gov, leader of the gold standard in modern Gov Cyber teams and co-writer of the Security by Design standards… I stand by that!
