The UAE has several laws covering privacy and data security - including the DIFC DP Law, the ADGM DP Law and several cyber security related laws. However, there isn’t yet one main national data protection law across the Emirates.

This panel discussion will review current legislation in the UAE and the wider region and explore what an ideal Data Protection Law would look like and how it could act as a game-changer across the region.
