The importance of diversity within the workplace has grown exponentially over recent years, with more organisations understanding the value and importance of having a diverse workforce.

A study from CNN Money shows that the millenial and Gen X generations are the most diverse in history, with 56% of the 87 million millennials in America being white, as compared to 72% of the 76 million members of the baby boomer generation.

This shows that as the workforce continues to diversify, so must the workplace. However, there is still a way to go. Not only the role of HR, cultural change is an organisation-wide responsibility, with each team member showing respect and an inclusive attitude, welcoming different profiles from their own.

This panel will discuss how organisations can change the culture of the business to have diversity in mind, from adjusting their practices and policies, to training on unlearning conscious bias.
