I work on security, resilience and regulation, mainly in telecoms and critical infrastructure.

At Sky, I lead regulatory security engagement for Group Networks, including Telecoms Security Act compliance. I work with Ofcom and government on the development and implementation of security and resilience requirements, including the Cyber Security & Resilience Bill. I also advise on major cloud and technology changes where regulatory, security and resilience risks are relevant.

Before Sky, I spent several years in government helping develop the UK’s Telecoms Security Framework, working closely with Ofcom, NCSC and industry. Earlier in my career I worked at Ofcom.

I mainly write here about cyber security, resilience, regulation, telecoms, critical infrastructure and emerging technology.
