Richard Harrington

Richard is an experienced counter fraud investigator, and is the fraud manager for Charities Aid Foundation.

He has a deep knowledge of counter fraud operations, and has experience which has covered private and non-profit sectors, while working closely with public sector organisations in the course of investigations.

Richard’s background is in preventing fraud, waste and abuse in the private healthcare sector, with his recent thesis focusing on fraud and corruption within the health sector.. In his current position, he has oversight of fraud prevention measures designed to protect not just his own organisation, but the large pool of customers, donors, and philanthropists all wanting to help those in need.

He also actively takes part in promoting the need for fraud awareness to form part of the educational offering for young people, and has recently had an article accepted for publication on this subject.
