Dave Hirsch is a partner in the securities enforcement and regulatory counseling practice group at McGuireWoods, and previously was a SEC senior officer and Chief of the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit. He also served as enforcement counsel to an SEC Commissioner advising on crypto and cyber policy.

He is a member of the NYU Center for Cyber Security Legal Advisory Board and an editor of the International Journal of Blockchain Law.
