Zoso Davies

Zoso Davies is an independent Market Strategist who shares his perspectives and insights via the Macro Credit Thoughts Substack. He is a subject matter expert on corporate bond markets, as well as adjacent markets including private credit, government bond markets, and structured credit.

Prior to this, Dr Davies was European Credit Strategist at Barclays, publishing sell-side research reports on euro and sterling denominated corporate bond markets. Alongside his core role, Zoso also engaged in significant cross-asset and cross-function projects covering topics as diverse as central-bank asset purchases, ESG integration to corporate bond portfolios, and the decline in UK equity listings.

Dr Davies was awarded a PhD in Chemistry by UCL in 2009.
