My career has had three main strands:

• Executive roles focused on building, transforming, or remediating technology-oriented businesses, CIO at G4S, Gallagher and Coventry Building Society
• Entrepreneurial roles advising, investing in, and/or leading disruptive businesses to a lucrative trade sale or IPO, Fusion-io (IPO NYSE), Neuvector (trade sale to SUZE), Violin Memory (IPO NASDAQ)
• Non-executive and advisory roles that focus on governance and advising on strategy to deliver lasting change and improve performance.

I now have an advisory and NED career with a regulated board membership at the Cambridge Building Society, a board technology advisory role at the CFA Society of the UK, an Independent NED role at Guarddog AI (a Utah-based Cyber Security firm), a board member role for the Scottish Business Network, and a Chair role at Hydra Aesthetics, First Wave Cyber Chair role at Records Witness (a RegTech business) and other investments.
