Helen is a leader in risk management, cyber, information security and compliance. She is passionate about the value that appropriate governance and risk management structures can deliver to organisations, enabling them to achieve their objectives and improve their resilience to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.

Significant experience

Through her career, Helen has led in-house Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) functions in large corporates as well as more recently, supporting a wide range of external clients of different sizes and sectors to enhance their risk, resilience and compliance posture, including:

• Working at senior leadership and C-suite level.
• Conducting and performing governance and risk reviews.
• Undertaking troubled project reviews and improvement projects.
• Introducing management systems to organisations including ISO frameworks.
• Providing training and education on a multitude of risk, cyber, information security and compliance topics. 

Helen regularly presents at conferences and webinars on risk management, cyber security and data privacy. She is a member of the advisory panel for the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre and is known for her ‘no jargon’ approach to this growing risk and the need for boards to recognise they remain accountable for risk mana
