Fiona Davies is a recognised leader in the RegTech industry, with a career dedicated to advancing the adoption of cutting-edge compliance and identity verification technologies. As an Ambassador for The RegTech Association, she plays a pivotal role in promoting global collaboration between regulators, financial institutions, and technology providers through the RTA’s Global Centre of Excellence.

Currently at GBG, Fiona leads strategic initiatives focused on partner ecosystems and channel innovation, helping organisations implement scalable RegTech solutions that address complex regulatory challenges. Her work supports the delivery of secure, efficient, and compliant onboarding and fraud prevention frameworks across diverse sectors.

Fiona’s previous roles include senior leadership positions at IDVerse (OCR Labs) and ION (Acuris Risk Intelligence), where she spearheaded global efforts in high-risk industries such as gaming and FX as well as all regulated markets. She has been instrumental in developing and promoting enhanced due diligence frameworks, including pioneering solutions for source of wealth verification, responsible gaming, and adverse media screening.

With nearly a decade of experience in AML, KYC, and identity intelligence, Fiona is known for her ability to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and technological innovation. She is a frequent collaborator with regulators and industry bodies, and a passionate advocate for responsible, data-driven compliance practices.
