As the lead for KPMG’s Cyber Response team, David has over 25 years of cybersecurity experience, specifically in countering advanced threat actors, developing cybersecurity resilience and responding to critical incidents. David has worked with a variety of clients across the globe and brings a wealth of experience on overseeing client engagements such as complex cybersecurity incidents across a broad spectrum of industries and regional markets. He has extensive expertise providing independent board-level advisory and assurance, cybersecurity resilience and response engagements, in addition to guidance on post-breach complex investigations and in support of class-action lawsuits. Recently, David has led a series of high-profile cyber incident exercises including a number of critical infrastructure, healthcare and government entities.

Prior to working at KPMG, David led the FTI Consulting UK cybersecurity practice which in addition to incident response, included development of target operating models and security assurance programmes across multi-national clients. Before that he served as the lead architect and then Head of Automation within Technology for KPMG. During his tenure, David led a team of over 65 specialists in delivering digital transformation across a +£10M portfolio including cloud hosted AI, workflow, RPA, data insight, and software development projects. David has worked closely with CROs, Counsel, CISOs, and business continuity leads of many organisations advising and assisting in the challenges and ongoing transformations faced by organisations. Internationally, David has worked with a raft of government entities outside of Europe including North and South America, Middle East, North Africa and the Asia Pacific Region.
