I am the DPO for Charles Russell Speechlys and work in the Risk and Compliance legal team.

I have been a solicitor for nearly 25 years and originally qualified as an employment lawyer at one of the largest UK insurance litigation firms, before transitioning to data protection.

Prior to becoming a DPO, I worked in private practice, advising clients of UK and US firms, most recently as a partner at EY.

As DPO, I am responsible for data protection for clients, staff and third parties. Charles Russell Speechlys has a large client base, including corporates, but also acts for families, estates and high net worth individuals, so data protection is a high priority, especially as we continue to develop in the AI space.
