Global Head of Privacy, Informa - As Global Head of Privacy at Informa, Adrian brings deep expertise in large-scale governance to the stage, offering practical blueprints for aligning the often-competing mandates of CISOs and DPOs into a collaborative framework that satisfies both regulators and boardrooms.

Adrian is presently the Global Head of Privacy at Informa, a leading international events, digital services, and academic knowledge business headquartered in the UK. In this role, he oversees the global privacy program for Informa’s B2B and B2C event and media businesses, with operations in over 30 countries.

Prior to Informa, Adrian served as Equifax’s Data Protection Officer and European Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where he led the development of its privacy function and capabilities following the 2017 data breach.

With over 17 years of experience in privacy and information security, Adrian has held diverse roles across multiple industry sectors. As a Managing Consultant at Deloitte UK, he provided specialised privacy and security advisory and assurance services to Financial Services and Telecommunications clients. Known for his pragmatic approach, Adrian views privacy and security as critical business enablers.

Adrian holds a Ph.D. in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and has contributed to the development of international security standards. He speaks regularly at data protection and security conferences and also serves as a member of the External Advisory Board for the Institute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS) at the University of Kent.
